ARCHITECTURE GETS A SECOND SKIN

At RASCAL, the historic vaulted architecture itself becomes the projection surface. Large-scale moving imagery flows across arches and ceilings, follows the architecture and continually transforms the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Nature grows across the vaults. Moonlight falls into the room. Colours, forms and abstract worlds appear and disappear. The physical architecture remains – while gaining a living digital surface.

The result is not a conventional media installation, but dynamic MEDIARCHITECTURE: image, light, space and movement come together to create an ever-changing atmosphere that becomes part of the dining experience.

Directly adjacent to the MUSEUM OF CHANGE, RASCAL carries its artistic idea into a more intimate interior – from public artwork to a sensual space of enjoyment.
